The course looked fantastic considering the deluge we received on Friday afternoon. The weather was perfect, and it was nice seeing old friends again and making new ones. While I'm sure we all could have played better golf, a good time was had by all. Sid blazed the front nine with a 28 to Sandalbagger's 31, but Chris came on strong on the back nine to claim his third consecutive LaGrassa Open title. Some memorable shots included Sid taking a birdie 4 on hole#3c, Chris hitting the pole on #5 on his drive, me taking a birdie 3 on hole#10c (my first ever on this pin position) & Chris birdieing holes 11b,12a, 14c & 15b.

Winners of both the Pro and Am divisions received a new DX disc and an empty Church Brew Works growler (a $4 value!) to be filled with their favorite suds at da Burgh's finest microbrewery. I got to play the new concrete tees at Deer Lakes and also purchased a CFR fundraiser Katana in my favorite weight and supported the PFDO. Couldn't ask for more!
