Well here are my suggestions for your band camp tourney whether you want to hear them or not.
If the band members are not playing then they should at least be there to represent.
Personally I would like to hear them play Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk" and other rock'n roll stuff throughout the round. People in the ajoining neighborhood might get drawn in as well and it would bring more attention to the event.
If not that then at least one band member per hole playing his or her instrument on each hole when I tee off. Maybe a dramatic drum roll or something or in my case a tuba would probably represent my game better.
Finally,
If they don't want to play then have them offer to caddie. $1 per hole not including tips if they run and get me something to drink. I'll give your kid $20 to start.
