This is an issue we have been dealing with for a long time. We went to digital scales thinking they would be better, but they were worse. If the exact weight is important, checking is always good. There are some shops that offer reweighing as a value added service.

By far, the most important part of any shot is what is happening in the last split second as the disc is pulling itself from your grip. Focus there. It's the key.
