Also, is there any plan to make them flatter like the older one's so that they are more over stable? I would much rather throw a roc than a shockwave but I need a mid range I can throw a long way in a head wind without flipping over. Thanks in advance for the insight.

The mold is the same, with one possible exception. The nose on the more stable version is sharper than the nose on the slightly less stable version. The dome is an artifact of the blend of material we get from the manufacturer. Sometimes they come out domier, and sometimes less. We can, however make softer Rocs, which will come out flatter. Apparently, you got one of those. For the past two or three years we have been making them slightly stiffer, that may be the reason they are slightly domier.

Thanks for the feedback.

By far, the most important part of any shot is what is happening in the last split second as the disc is pulling itself from your grip. Focus there. It's the key.
