Emac is not a tall man, but I think his waist is still above the basket. I'm sure he releases from a little above his waist, but not nearly as high as other people putt, and closer to his waist than chest. Sorry if I was not literal enough for your tastes.

It is from the waist! i like how it has the slight nose up the whole way too but that is one putt I just can't mimic too well. If you can you will also start hitting more putts.
