which is fantastic if it IS actually the groups decision. I’m just not convinced that it is yet. Changes have been made to the doubles format and now the rule applies a little differently than it did in the beginning...when it was agreed on.

Please calrify this statement!
nothing is set in stone correct.... this is a discusion board aggreed.... it is my opinion that this is a subject to be discussed at meeting face to face not a round about discussion on a public forum. just my opinion. I have to go run doubles more on this later.

What I'm saying is, there was a discussion on the $5 option rule, it passed. At a different meeting, there was a discussion on changing the format to Pro/Am.
I was at that meeting and know that the cali rule applying to this format was NOT discussed. Now that we are doing the Pro/AM thing and have had some experience with a few Cali's, is it worth a discussion and revote? My opinion is that it is. And maybe everyone would still vote for it. But if I was sure that everyone loved the rule, I wouldn’t bother with any of this. My hope is that there might be someone that thinks I make a little sense and maybe we should talk about it, even if Rory is not at the meeting. My situation with owning a business and having a wife with a 40 hour a week retail job, and a son to keep up with, doesn’t allow allot of free time. So if I said to you (as a member)..."I can never come to a disc golf meeting" would you say "well then, your not allowed to have an opinion"? I doubt it, maybe you would say, "Well if you cant be there and would like something to be discussed, we can add it to next months agenda." If I had said, "Hey guys, do me a favor and change the cali rule at the meeting tonight!" That would be worth the reaction that I have gotten. But all I asked is if it could be discussed.
"You are constantly second guessing the decisions made my [by] your friends and active club memebers. we are not mind readers."
How is an opinion second guessing? That seems to be a reoccurring theme, but not sure what you mean. And not sure what the mind readers thing is about. Disc golf is just a hobby to me, and whatever you guys decide, I’m just along for the ride. Am I rhyming a little?…I know my opinions are strong sometimes, and I do appreciate your enthusiasm, but we’ve gone down this road before because there seems to be this “come to the meetings or shut up” idea out there. And maybe that's just how it is, and how it should be for radical ideas. But this is unbelievably basic and shouldn’t need me to be there to say all of the things that I have already said on here. And maybe after all of this, still nobody cares and everyone likes it just the way it is. And that is perfectly fine, I still like to have opinions from time to time.
