back to that Bald Eagle.... because of Goocher's stunning shots on 15 and all the slow play of his group in general
we got the oppurtunity to stare into the 30 mph winds and just gaze in awe at one of natures most fascinating creatures. The eagle was not only beautiful, but simply amazing structurally.
It floated in the wind currents for over 10 minutes without a single flap of its enormous wings. Arching its wings, spreading them out, dipping and diving only to fly back higher than it started, all awhile keeping its eyes on the prize. We didnt get to see it catch anything, but we know it was set on grabbing something up from the thick brush.
amazing. thats all that can be said, simply amazing.
