I've always wondered if anyone ever used that pavilion. I've never seen anyone there, but it looks nice.

Sunday morning we traveled to Niagara Falls and played three courses in three days. Orchard Park, Lewiston, and Beaver Island. All three courses were pretty good. I'd say Beaver Island AKA Blue Heron was the nicest. Good layout with awesome tee signs. They had small trash cans attached to each sign, made it feel like a golf course.

The Can-Am Cup was held there in 2000, and I was part of team NY/NJ with Steve Brinster, Matt LaCourte, Scott Wolfe, Dan Doyle, and others. We had a blast at that course even though many holes down by the river were under a few inches of water. During our last round, I was on the teepad of one hole and Brinster aced the previous hole, whose basket was very close to us. After a lot of talk of "crowning," someone else in the group smashed chains dead center but alas, it kicked out.
