I have seen that happen with several of the star destroyers. I have both and the champion is a little more stable at first but when the star ones get beat they are very flippy. It may be hard to believe but I have a star one that is 172 and it flies like a valkyrie of the same weight. Still goes a mile but I definitely prefer my champion one.
