Re: Destroyer
I've spent a lot of time working on my backhand this summer, and its starting too pay off! I've always had plenty of D, big turnovers and what-not, but my hyzer was kinda shiesty. I've always had the tendency to roll my wrist through the release, but not anymore. Now I can throw my old star Coyote on a hyzer - and it stands up sooo pretty...anyway...with that being said, here are my thoughts on the Destroyer:
I've found its worked great for big hyzers - or when thrown flat at about 70%, I can get a descent low-cieling golf line out of it. I'm not so sure it can handle a head-wind all that well. This disc can't handle full power rips at anything less than HYZER (20-30 degree dip) before flipping hard - after it flips it flies a lot like a teerex with a slightly quicker fade.
So far they have been wonderful for sidearms, very smooth and wicked fast. If you have ever seen me bomb a sidearm, you know I've got respectable D, and the Destroyer makes it really easy to go 400+.
