Re: Destroyer
The Destroyer is the best wide rimmed driver I've thrown. I don't like the touchiness of the Wraith and Teerex, so I thought that the wide rim was responsible. I was wrong. In my limited experience (about 30 drives) the Destroyer performed as I expected almost every time. I was initially surprised that this is not an overstable disc when thrown with any sort of power. I was throwing about 75% with a little hyzer and the disc flipped up but not flat and flew on a nice muted/gliding hyzer line that you do not see out of the Wraith or Teerex. It is more like the faster Teebird that the Teerex was touted as but never lived up to. It is nose angle sensitive, but somehow seems less so than the Wraith and Teerex beacause in all my throws I never totally flipped it nor had it climb and stall. The Destroyer is a great stable partner to my Rogues, but it has not flown as far as them as consistantly yet (too stable for balls out D). The plastic is quite grippy. I generally prefer Discraft, but I will be the first to admit that they do not have any molds that compare to this.
PS: I second David M's observation that it feels like a wide rimmed Predator...
