My bosses son is 16 and just had kidney transplant. So far so good. At first it started to reject the transplant but now they are above water so far. My boss is a strong woman inside, but I know it's been rough lately for her.

It definitely humbles me. Here I am healthy 32 and this kid who just turned 16 might not have a chance.

He can't go to school, and limited to outside exposure. Any type of illness could kill him. It just shocks me awake inside. The things we all take for granted.
