Myself, Jake, Dan Bougher,Justin,Billy Lund and Forsander all played McClure today. That had to be the most I have ever had during a round of golf that I can remember.
Imagine not being able to get close to the creek with out laying down,for fear you are going to slide in. Or leaving Jake to finish out on hole two,then ten minutes later you look back to see him further away from getting up to the path than when he started. He finally pulls him self up by using the basket, inches up the hill and drops a disc out of his bag that starts its decent down the hill and into the creek. Again.
It took me at least 4 or 5 trys to get up the hill after hole four and I know I bit it twice trying to get up to 12's basket.
Threw in the creek on 15 and while carefully sitting down and inching my way towards the creek, I start this unstoppable slide towards some very cold water, just caught myself on the rocks and kept from beiing miserable.
I had to lay there a minute and catch my breath, I thought I was in for sure. I know Jake was hoping for it.
I don't know if some of us fell from the ice or fell from laughing so hard.
Well worth the drive to the course, well worth it!
