Hunt Life mini series

Me and buck are going to start a mini series on Wednesday nights. There will be different formats played through out the series. We will be alternating between J B Hunt and Sportslife. The money raised when we play J B hunt will be going towards the completion of the course. The proceeds from the weeks at sportslife will go to the tournament in July. We are going to sponsor a hole in Buck's father's honor. After the tournament all money made from either course will go to completing J B hunt. The series is starting this week at sportslife at 545. We will be doing a putting mini rules will be explained tomorrow night. Just as a side note the course has 15 holes in the ground and will be completed by the next time we play there. Next week will be the first week at jb hunt. The series will continue until we can no longer play on Wednesday nights. Once a month we will hold a fundraiser tournament for jb hunt on saturdays. It will more than likely be a 25 entry fee and 15 will go towards baskets an ten towards payout. We will have ring of fire and give aways at these too. This will also give us opportunities to see different 18 hole layouts. Please come out and support the growth of disc golf in the Springdale area

Thank you to Kelly G and Sam D for showing up for the putting challenge. Kyle barely beat out Sam to win it. Next Wednesday at 5:30 we will be playing at JB Hunt and the format will be traditional golf. $5.00 gets you in with $3 to payout and $2 to the course.

On a side note I will be meeting with Springdale Parks on Tuesday to pay off the balance that is owed for the 9 baskets that we have out at JB Hunt. I want to thank everyone who played in the mini's last summer. It is because of you that we are able to pay this off. Wish me luck in getting 9 more baskets when I meet with Rick on Tuesday.

Yo Buck how did the meeting go?? Are they gonna buy the other 9 baskets for you guys? I have seen some good 18 hole layouts for that park, with Teepads and signs it could be the best course in NWA. Can you post the results of the minis? This is Corey btw.

Hello Corey! Hope all is well is Colorado. When will you head back down to NWA? Last weeks mini was a bit small due to the incoming thunderstorm. Played the mini at Sports Life and they played skins. Kyle took first with 11 skins, Dasun 2nd with 4, and Keith 3. It came down to the 17th hole and Kyle made the birdie to take 9 skins.

The meeting with the city went really well and I think I will have some great news to report in a little over a week. I want to wait until everything is 100% before I say anything. Keep your fingers crossed! :-)

JB Hunt mini at 5:45 next Wednesday. We will play flip dubs. If I have some time I will throw a couple extra holes in for what the potential layout of the full 18 would be.

Ok, so this week "Wednesday @ 5:45" we will be playing either flip dubs or singles at JB Hunt. We will be playing the entire front 9 twice of what the full 18 hole course will be. You will not want to miss this. It will feature some of the signature holes of what JB Hunt will come to be once it is a full 18 hole course. On a side note I will be meeting with the city again on Thursday. Lets hope that the disc golf community receives some good news. Will keep you all informed of what I find out. Hope to see alot of golfers out on Wednesday.

Hey,
Can anyone tell me what those plastic markers are that are used to mark tees at JB hunt and Northshore? There is a guy wanting to put 6 more holes in at Alma, and would like to keep everything mowable, so he was interested in these, but I have no idea what they are called or where to get them.

Hey Willie, picked some up at Hertz heavy equipment rental -relatively cheap. They probably have them at other heavy equipment rental stores as well.
