Just got a report today that #15 has been kyped. The park said it happened 3 days ago and this is the first I've heard of it. They also said that they tried to steal the tee pad???? What???
Anyway, we are going to have to raise some funds for this basket, so it looks like bag tags are going to be $15 this year.

If anyone hears anything, let me know.

What a shame. Can you buy a replacement that matches those old baskets? I love the sound of those things. Sorry to hear this.

Talked to Ray, the park host, yesterday. He said that he had some trouble with 3 players the day the basket was stolen. 3 white dudes in a white extended cab with 4X4 on the side panel may have been the culprits. They received a ticket from the sherriff that was patrolling and thought that Ray gave it to them. It's possible that they came back that night to get even.
Ray let the sherriff's office know and now he's waiting for the officer to come back so he can talk to him about getting the cops to check out the story and maybe go to their residence to look for the mach III.
Until then...be on the lookout for the white truck with the 3 punks.

I played Oak Grove at about 4:00 pm yesterday, threw a nice -10, missed 3 other birdie putts and cursed the MFers as I walked by missing #15 basket.

In the meantime I'm gonna keep throwing my portable on hole #1 deep to keep things fresh.

Lots of n00bies seem to be missing hole #1 though :D

Mach III replacement has been received by myself.
I'm tempted to dig a hole in my backyard for the sleeve. The new set-up is so shiny!!
