Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
For those of us unable to make it over to Tulsa for the Traditional Thanksgiving Skins game , but who would like a little holiday adventure, I've got an idea
I don't want to interfere with the normal mini, so I would like to do something either mid-morning Friday or early A.M. on Saturday or even mid-day on Sunday. If anyone is interested but only for a specific time please let me know, or if one time is better than another.
I would like to set up a 6 or 9 basket course and play an inexpensive safari skins match that will be give everyone involved a chance to win something. If we have enough players, we can set up a specific course and play, or we can play "Pick-a-Shot" w/each person taking a turn choosing the tee and hole layout. Either way I want to GPS each Tee and Basket we use as well as get some photos of people playing the course that I intend to use in a presentation to the school and city.

Which works better for you? Mid-morning Friday say-10:00-10:30 or early A.M Saturday -like 8:30. I'm leaning toward Friday, but am not opposed to doing it both days or even all three.

I wouldnt mind getting in on this but depends what the girlfriend has planned. But the sooner I know when this is going on the better chance I have at coming out there. I am down for early morning for my vote.

Morning skins match prior to the Saturday Northshore Mini.
Groups/group will tee off no later than 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
$5 - $10 group decision
Could be RIPT Revenge Skins if so agree'd. Let's have some fun and help design a new course. Questions: give me a call-530-5367.

Big thanks to "THE" Jeff Ash, Darryl Bailey, Larry Q, Stacey and the girls for coming out Saturday morning and joining in on the Safari Skins match. Larry and Darryl captured all of the Skins, while everyone got a scratch ticket for participating.
I appreciate the input on possible layouts and hope that I can set the course up again in the very near future. Hopefully the e-mails to the Mayor and the Parks Director will get some type of response.
Again thank you to those that joined in and I hope more can particpate next time. Maybe need to make this a breakfast club kinda thing.

We had fun. I certainly enjoyed playing a new course with good friends. This piece of land, for being rather small, has lots of possibilites for fun holes. The trees are spaced out every 40 feet or so which makes for many fairways. You could have eighteen holes with six or nine baskets hit from different directions each. For being just a few acres, it has the potential to be great for beginners and fun for everyone.

Thanks for breaking the silence. I did hear some good news from the NWDGA.com site, Darell Bailey has been on point with Fayetteville and according to a conversation he had today, it looks like Northshore will be getting Tee-pads in April. Let the silence begin again.
