Have you checked in with the owner of this course?

joe, almost anybody can run an event there who follow the rules and contacts us months in advance to make sure we dont have a scheduling conflict or other issue with that organization. the board would need time to discuss it and the board moves slowly. do like the rest of the state and submit your schedule the year before, in september then there is plenty of time to get the necessary approval for your events because william gilbert told me the exact same thing, word for word.

Thank you. And well stated! Thank Bill for me too. On another note, did Mike get permission? I don't want to come out and have to leave to go play the Willy P. Wonka course again. Tried that ****, it sucked.

And when is Mystic Mills? I think I might be running a CHAINS event that same day. Son of *****! Scheduling in this state is impossible.....

i believe mystic mills is on the same day as chains. somehow there was a scheduling conflict prior to others having commandeered all things disc golf related in the region. of course, the date for chains is subject to change, but regardless will be opposite mystic mills. if you give me a call to discuss it, i will gladly give you the necessary approval. also known as permission to golf. you can even keep score as far as i am concerned. see you at back to the hills, joe.

Boy, that's really unfortunate, Greg.

Yeah, it is unfortunate, Greg, if it's true. Unfortunately, our society has recently decided - thanks to birthers and teabaggers - that truth is only an option. And not necessarily an option that matters. Did you know that in the UK no one over age 59 can get any kind of surgical medical care, because they're too old? Sad.

I think if you found it worth your time to talk with me in person about this, you'd be glad you did. But, I could be making that up, since I am so stressed that someone decided to have a glow tournament tonight at BRATS but didn't bother to check in with the Calhouns for permission. All that noise outside is making it hard to get to sleep.

And it's too bad that no one told Todd White about the TADGA tourney at White's Acres tomorrow night.

Hope you're having fun up at Ludington, and that the Indiana folks having decided - last minute, of course - to schedule their fall tournament at Ludington this weekend didn't get in the way of the Michigan State Finals.

Wow. All of those TDs are very irresponsible that they did not make any efforts to figure out who owns these courses or to find out who has the authority to grant permission at these courses. What jerks. Of course I am assuming that the TDs in these situations were not misinformed, and they deliberately did not seek any type of permission. Yep, I'll assume that. Jerks.

4th Annual C/B tiered event on 9/19/09 at this beautiful Rolling Hills Course, I have been TD the last 3 years at this 9/19/09 Back to the Hills event and November's 11/29/09 Turkey & Chains event in conjunction with the Washtenaw County Parks.

I hope many of you can make it out to this wonderful course which I get to play weekly for it is only 25 minutes from my home and has nostalga for me for it is where I learned disc golf years ago way back when it was a very little used 9 hole course.

See you on the 19th !

Pro & Advanced 2 long

Intermediate & Adv Master 1 long & 1 short

Rec, Novice, & Women 2 short

remember 7 of the holes only have 1 teepad & the 3 temp holes have 1 teepad, so only have long pads on 11 of the 21 holes.

Hope to see you all Saturday ! Lots of extras !
