Thanks to the tireless work of TeeMac, it looks like we will be back to a 27 holer before too long.

Thanks for the props MR Sm000th. I have just returned from my meeting with the Parks and Rec guy and he approved the layout for the last three holes. So now it's official and we can put sleeves in this week and hopefully have tee pads in by the end of October. We also can install tee signs now. We need to raise more funds for the concrete needed for tee pads.

The Delta Windjammers are willing to loan the Baskethounds the money for tee pads until they can make it up at the CVS raffle. Whattayathink? It's either that or get Chuck Woody down here to dig up some concrete company to do it! Chuck's the man!

That's a great offer from our brother Windjammers. With that kind of support we will have those tee pads in a lot sooner. I'll negotiate the terms of loan with you Saturday at the Fid.

The sleeves are in. Pat and Josh engineered and excavated Wednesday. The baskets?

Good to play the back 18 today! Jimmy, Timmy and I broke in the holes with an early morning round. With the weight of the world off of his shoulders, Tim decided to ace hole #A. Easy pull through the gap and into the chains. Good times!

Looks like good digging weather for getting those new tee pads formed.

I sent an email this morning to the city about digging on Thursday, forming on Friday and pouring on Saturday. I delegated the job to our club engineers Josh and Pat. These boys are goers so we might get the three tee pads we need for our tourney done this week. Money is not an issue right now so the only thing that can hold us back is city red tape which I don't think will happen.

Saturday went as planned and the three tee pads are done, except for taking the forms off.

Next up the club engineers will be installing tee signs this week. They will both be using a phd in the field during this operation.

We have four new pin positions (sleeves) in the ground. But since only one of them is going to be used in the Fall Classic, we will have to wait till after the tournament to play them. We are going to put the baskets in the tournament set up for now so people can practice this set up til the tournament.

There's a newly numbered eighteen hole course in Modesto, with a practice nine by the tennis courts. Now the golf stories will start with "I was on thirteen, y'know old hole ten, and the basket was in old fifteen in the short, y'know new twelve short...."
