DSproAVIAR

Wow, that is certainly surprising that the Ottawa Park Open is on the schedule for Sunday the 14th.

Is it going to be Am2/Am3 only or something?

no player pack for the PRO's at this time but we are still working on more sponsorship, cash in particular.

PRO’s aren’t player pack appreciative, they are cash appreciative, Joe!

And why are you asking about PRO player pack when you are and AM??

Mark what are you talking about? Back-up plan? Please clarify?

Mike Michalak has not requested, been given or will be awarded a waiver from A3, to say nothing of AM Nationals!

Joe you are so confusing to me. What are you pickin up or putting down, LOL.

So far 1 PRO signed up, moving up. where will you be on the 13th - 14th of June? Come on out and play in this A Tier.

Sure if you want to subsidize it bruce otherwise i think not. Try harder for an idea that works maybe you want to donate cash to the PRO purse Bruce. With your ideas its either cash or baked goods, i am sure the PRO's would love either!!!

What tees/baskets are we playing for each round?

cyferban
Jun 02 2009, 02:22 PM
We have spoken but not decided on Monster Champ Black, Original Long, and Monster Long. if the weather cooperates we may go with 2 rounds of champ black. This is the Open PRO's.

Other PRO divisions may just see 3 rounds of Longs unless they voice an opinion otherwise.

What tees/baskets are we playing for each round?

Your website says it is $75 and right here it says $50. Which is it?

Will you offer Pro Grand Master if you have a threesome or foursome?

cyferban
Jun 02 2009, 03:53 PM
Thanks for catching that Bruce i changed it.
We will offer PRO Grand Master regardless of the number of players in that division but there will be no trophy as they are already done. Points for that division may be a problem for that player though. if they are the only one who shows up.

Jun 02 2009, 04:39 PM
Yes i do expect more than 3 advanced use the DGLO AM thread please.
Of course if i am wrong then each of them will get a trophy then i suppose. LOL that would be a first to my knowledge.

Sorry i don't know the colors other then championship black, and i am told even that is not correct, buy hey that's what i call it. So long tees to long baskets, original long and monster long to regular basket. just so i am clear.

Is that what you are saying DSproAVIAR??

Blacks-blues-champ blacks sounds like a great combo.

Blueberry muffins
chocolate chip cookies with big chocolate chunks.

Muffins!

Bill, yes we are on the same page. Monster long, original long, monster long to champ.

Did you put those course in any order or just random sort of.
I would think you would want to get the monster long to champ out of the way as early as possible. or maybe save it for the final round to see what we could do to stir the pot? hmm you are evil, LOL

Whose stoked that KZOO fuckin' bagged the LPO?! Especially, after all of the scheduling consessions. And if this weekends DGLO Ams fizzles out, it ain't gonna be cause of no fuckin' CHAINS event at Kensington. Lame as ****!

Whose stoked that KZOO fuckin' bagged the LPO?! Especially, after all of the scheduling consessions. And if this weekends DGLO Ams fizzles out, it ain't gonna be cause of no [censored] CHAINS event at Kensington. Lame as ****!I just find it amusing. The PDGA always tries to give Am Worlds to a TD they can count on to skim a lot of money off the process and spend it on a subsequent Pro NT. Last year they skimmed $10,752 off Worlds and split it 50/50 between the host club and the PDGA. So I guess the Kalamazoo team was good for the first half of the process, but what, misplaced their 5 grand between Worlds and now? Invested it in GM stock? Hopefully they spent it on making the temp courses at Custer and that other course permanent. If not, their failure to spend it on touring pros doesn't cause me any pain.

Segueing back to topic, if you didn't have that one pre-reg from Arizona [or where ever; I only remember it was from somewhere a long way out west] you could move this off the Am Nats date.

cyferban
Jun 03 2009, 10:41 PM
No sorry Bruce part of the scheduling problem was that Hudson Mills has the tractor pull the same weekend as DGLO AM, they are allowing us to run the event on sunday only because the tractor pull ends that day early. We couldn't move the whole DGLO there but we could have taken the LPO weekend and been very happy there.

The Discraft Great Lakes Open has agreed to stand in for Kalamazoo as a Regional Qualifier. The DGLO allows the qualifier to stay within the great disc golf state of Michigan. Spots are still available for this weekend's event on the challenging Hudson Mills courses.

Our thanks go to both the Ann Arbor and Kalamazoo clubs for their promotion of disc golf and support of the United States Disc Golf Championship.

Take care,
Harold
