Well me and a buddy went to watch the Pens vs. Stars game Sunday(GO PENS!!!), and got to play this course yesterday morning before the puck dropped. Very fun 9 hole course you guys have up there. Wish I would have known about the Saturday doubles or we'd of shown up to play that instead of the crowley course in 40mph winds.....
Thanks to Ken and his buddy(sorry I'm bad with names) for giving us the tour.....and sorry about the full moon that was out that day  If you are ever down this way look me up and I'll return the favor.

We are fortunate to have a club with great leadership and a course with plenty of risk/reward holes on a small piece of land. Plus, the city is becoming more and more tolerant of our existence, which will hopefully mean only improvements in the future. Glad you enjoyed our home. :)

West Texas visits Fritz Park - Sweet. Fritz is actually one of the oldest courses in the DFW area. It's not the original lay out but most of the shots are similar.
Me and my Bro in Law Garry met Carl and Nick in Amarillo last year and I beleive he met a few San Angelo guys in AbIlene. Wish we could make The Crush, but World Dubs same weekend.
Glad you had fun - I assume you guys went swimming :)

Brandon Young(from Abilene, living in DFW now) told us to hit it up as it was close to the hotel we were staying at. Told us it was the oldest course in Dallas, so we had to hit it. We also played Crowley while we were up there. 40 mph winds and temps in the low 50s, but it was fun as well. Was hoping to play Gateway, but no baskets yet.
I'm pretty sure I played with your bro-in-law at the Wild Hair....or at least I played with someone from Irving at the Wild Hair last year. I'm bad with names though. It was a fun round for sure. As for the Crush and Am Dubs. I sure wish I was going to Am Dubs as well, couldn't believe they moved it up a month like they did. Hope it doesn't screw us, but we already had the word out about our dates when they posted theirs. What are you going to do......If you want to make it to a tourney out this way, we have the West Texas Doubles in September. It's the only tourney here of the year that you get to play all 3 courses in one event.
Didn't have to swim on the first round of 9, but somehow threw one in on hole 2??????? If it wasn't my first run Surge I'd of probably left it.....it was 40 degrees outside. But I stripped down and jumped in. Luckily "the boys" didn't have to go in
I plan to go to Amarillo this year, so maybe we'll meet up there.
