I am very interested to see what you, the players want at this years King's Cup IV. In the past we have played all four rounds from the longs for all players. I have considered changing the format in consideration of players in divisions that don't want as much of a challenge. We are ready to sanction our event but want to get your input before we make it official. Please post or PM as soon as possible. We are ready to get on the calendar and are already working to make this years event the best yet. Thanks for your input or inputt.

Due to the strong rec and intermediate showing you guys draw, I'd suggest using the short pads for the above said divisions. I'd certainly like to see all rounds long as a pro, I think the course deserves it. Mabye mix it up for the am divisions, even play front or back short. I know last year we took a long lunch across town and came back to find the last card wasn't even in. I'm certain that whatever you and your club decide that it wil be the right decision and I can't wait to play the Cup again this year!

The layout for the King's Cup IV has been determined. All advanced and open divisions will play four rounds from the longs. All other divisions will play Saturday morning shorts, afternoon longs and Sunday morning shorts and afternoon longs. Registration and PayPal will be available within the next few days and a flyer is being developed for distribution. If you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a PM.

April 4, 2009 - Barnet Park. We'll have our first Super Class event. It will be run like our monthlies, same fees, same payouts, same fun. Different discs. You'll only be allowed to use Super Class discs. So bring your Zehpyrs, Pulsars, Ultrastars, etc. and have some floatin' fun in the woods.
The general idea is that the disc must be at least 23.7cm in diameter, no beveled edges (sorry, that means the Condors and Jaguars stay home.) I"ve played the course a few times with the big discs and it's a lot of fun. You'll be surprised!
For more detailed information about Super Class discs, check out the PDGA site for more information. http://www.pdga.com/super-class
For more event info, please visit www.kinstondiscgolf.com. (http://www.kinstondiscgolf.com.)
I will have some basic Super Class plastic for sale at the event.
I hope we'll see you there. It will be a blast!
(And don't forget April 5th is our regular monthly!)

Glad you made it Rocky! It was fun playing with you first round. Many thanks to everyone who came out to play today. Tomorrow should be another great day. Things are close, so it should be fun to see what happens. Thanks for helping to make this our best King's Cup yet.
