Nice tag round guys. I had a lot of fun. Good to see Kenny mixin' it up on our course. Great suggestion about Fridays, maybe a regular tag time. Also two bits for landing on the bench will be "de rigeur."

I actually was talking about Large Marge, who told me he read about the round and decided to join up with us by going home at lunch and getting his bag so he could make it on time.

Yesterday I placed an order for new 2009 MADG tags. Hopefully I will get them before Superbowl Sunday. If I do, we will be celebrating the anniversary of the new nine holes that went in in 2006 on Superbowl Sunday with a tag round featuring the new 2009 tags.
$10 for a tag plus the usual for the singles round. This is tentative until I'm sure I will have them in time. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Um, what time, exactly, is IIIish? How are we supposed to know when you are going to be ill? Please elaborate. Unless this is like that scene in Smokey and the Bandit where Bandit and Snowman are trying to figure out how to go to different channels on the c.b. without Buford T. Justice finding out. You know, I say channel 12, you go to channel 6. You say channel 8, I go to 4. Is that it Tee? Some secret code to weed out the lurkers? Did you just giggle because you saw the word weed? Dammit! I was just picking Little Kennys brain, getting some tips on how to throw an even round. I'll see if I can pull it off on Friday. Worst case scenario, I throw an awful round, kick my bag, throw my hat and exile myself to the parking lot to soak my sorrows in buds..............Light and green!

Pat and I teed off at 3:10 hoping that the misty drizzle was delaying some contenders. We opened and closed our bumbershoots during the round to keep the drizzle off. It rained finally on the last hole. Too bad you missed it Kenny, you coulda been a contenda.

It should be dry this Friday for anybody who wants to play a tag round at 3. Last chance for old MADG tags. :D

Yesterday Pat and I played for tags and had a "special" golfer join us for a round of twenty-two holes. For the last few months this golfer has been MIA, with just a couple of rare sightings of him on the course. Even though he did not score well for the round due to a nonchalant approach to his putting, it was impressive to see his booming back hand drives and his technical mastery of the Meteor. If you see him out there be sure to say hello; just don't ask him how he's doing. ;)

In case any body is interested there is a eighteen hole round tentatively scheduled for around 3pm DGT today. We can neither confirm nor deny that a large prehistoric bird will be flying in for the round. Probability is very high that we will start some where on the back holes off Scenic. Come on out and play.
