Fellow Disc Golfers!

I hope that the first half the week has treated you well. I just wanted you all to know about the event that we have going on this weekend. It is a fund raising/food raising tournament to benefit the Eastern Food Bank of Michigan. Times are tough here in the Flint area and the Flint Town Flyerz Disc Golf Club is trying to make it a little better place to live this Thanksgiving.

The tournament is being hosted by Andrea Gilstead on her property. Shiloh Farms is the name of the horse farm that we there for several years but, it now it vacant land. We have laid out an 18 hole course that should be fun for all to play. The tournament will be 1 round only. This will be your once and only opportunity to play this course. The tournament is this Saturday. Registration is from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. There are 3 divisions in this special tournament. Baggers, Non-Baggers, & Women. This tournament is all about having a fun time and giving back to the community in this time of need.

The cost is $10 in cash & $10 in canned food. The $10 covers your lunch, your beer (4 beers will be on tap), and side games. There will be multiple longest drives, multiple longest putts, shortest drives, most birdie, most bogies, etc... There will also be some raffles that will have some unique items as well.
