The next three Sundays in November, we will be setting up the four temporary holes that will be part of the course layout for the Fall Classic. Our weekly is a handicap singles round of 27 holes on Sunday; twenty of the holes will be the tourney course. Sign-up at the tennis courts at East La Loma Park before the 9am tee-off. $5 for the round with a split pot, half pays out to gross scores and half to net scores.

Modesto CVS Opener Raffle

As always there will be a killer raffle after the tournament. Bring your $$ for tickets. At least two baskets, Kings Tickets, a Surround Sound speaker system, a 3 wheel disc golf cart. lots of discs, shirts beer schwagg and more.
All players get a players package and lunch is included.
Rumor has it that the pads might get poured for the back holes in spite of the construction. Hopefully. Tournamnet Central will be in the main area of the park by the Tennis courts at the pavilion, not up top like last year. be on time for check in and players meeting. We won't wait for you.

The Fall Classic was a big success from my point of view. They had sweet weather, for one. I was shedding clothing faster than a Cornhusker husks corn.
The raffle was pretty sweet, with a variety of prizes.
The volunteers did a great job getting the tourney completed. Padraig did an exceptional job spotting #15. I've never heard of a shot being pin "low"(as I was in the ditch) :D great call.

Johnny Blue had the only ace. He hit #8. Somebody always does. He only collected 50 bucks, tho. This is making me think that I may have an ace buy-in in Stockton.

How many times have you won the Am I overall? Didn't you play and cash as a pro in CVS? Sorry about the tough love, but someone has to call you on it. Voluntarily bumping yourself would help. No pro likes to donate, but when you play against better players you can't win all the time, although you do get better. There are still five tournaments that you can play as a pro and qualify as a pro for the finals. Something to think about. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Congratulations to all you Baskethounds who cashed in V-town. "Bagger Bob Brown" walked away with a huge haul including a basket. Damon and Steve nipping at his heels with a good showing. Danny, coming out of early retirement, almost took the Am I field; if Jeremy had showed, it would have been like old times. DisHonorable mention goes to Mike who locked up DFL.
