Follow the link and make your voice heard. How cool it would be to see Disc Golf in the Olympics. It takes two minutes to add your name to the list of supporters.

I'm all for disc golf in the Olympics, but how embressing would it be for the sport to have one or several of our top players DQ for failing a drug test. Let's be real, snowboarding had it's problems in the begining with failed drug test and were not talking steroids. Most Disc Golfers in general are law abiding citzens, but unfortunatly alot of players like to get high and drink alcohol during tournament play. What kind of precessdent does our governing body set when it states in the Competition Manual under section 3: 3.1 C and D General That the use of illegal substance is forbidden from the 2-minute warning until the players scorecard is submitted. What this says to me that using drugs at a state, city or county park is ok, just not during play. But it still happens with little or no disclpine action. What's really comically is that the use of alcohol at a A or B tier is automatic disquailfication, C or D is either a DQ or warning. What?? Alcohol use is a DQ but not drug use? The use of alcohol and drugs during a tournament, from check in to awards , should not be permitted.

1. It's againist the law in the parks.
2. Don't have a rule saying Jr's are not allowed to wear shirts promoting alcohol and tobacco when people are walking around smoking pot and drinking beer.

Yes I support disc golf in the Olympics, but not until the PDGA and disc golf players get their act together on what is socially responsible.

I'm guessin the people that would qualify to represent would know the score and act accordingly. We're talkin the top pros in the sport here, not the park hippy who is there to socialize. . Just a thought. In the mean time...somebody needs to pass this guy the bowl....so he can relax already. Quite the diatribe brother.....rock on.....

Isn't it funny when someone explains everything without even trying?
