Just a reminder that the Fox Valley Open is only a few days away. Make sure and get registered before Friday 6/6 so you do not have to pay the $10 hassle fee. For those that came to play Winnebago County Park last year for the FVO, remember that this course plays tough with many over the water shots. This year promises to be even better with more out of bounds and tough shots. We have a group that will take lunch orders before the first round and will deliver them to you at lunch. This is the 4th stop on the tour this year. You can register online at takeflighttoday.com or send it via snail mail to me. Just make sure I get it no later than next Thursday 6/5. Thanks.

Sorry folks, I guess 8:30 is too early for golfers. Players meeting will be at 9:15.

The second round was stopped (about 5 holes in) due to lightning. There was some rain during the delay but nothing compared to other parts of the state. Just after 4:00 the second round resumed. Winds before the delay were probably 15-25 mph and afterwards they were probably 25-35 mph. Lots of penalties. The wind was tossing discs around and sending them OB. More storms hit Oshkosh later in the evening but well after we were done.

Yeah we had the 1st Annual Dairyfest Fling over in Marshfield with 42 participants, some wind, a little rain(we got lucky) and everyone had a good time. Thanks for the report Jay I was wondering how you guys faired over there and it looks like you guys still had a good turnout with the weather as eminently bad as it looked.
