WI Tour Warm Up - April 12th - Janesville

The Wisconsin Tour Warm Up is officially locked and loaded in terms of being just a one day event (all divisions) on Saturday, April 12th.

I am working on the flier and more detailed information but I wanted to share the news that it's finally official.

PS - this event will almost for sure sell out. Pre-registration options will be both online and snail mail.

For the 4th consecutive year I will be hosting the Wisconsin Tour Warm Up at the wildly popular, Lustig Park in Janesville, WI (http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&q=lustig+park,&near=Janesville,+WI&fb=1&cid=4266 6240,-89036840,18424382511071777976&li=lmd&ll=42.670698,-89.036808&spn=0.027704,0.058193&z=14) . This is a PDGA C-Tier event.

This event has been a one day event as well as a split day event and this year we are going back to being a single day format. There have been a ton of inquiries regarding this event for the past few weeks and now we are ready to get things going. As always, pre-registration is available both by snail mail and online. If you wish to avoid paying the online charges feel free to mail your entries to: Terry Miller | 14781 W Hidden Creek Ct | New Berlin, WI 53151. Simply subtract $5 from the prices you see online.

All event fees go up by $10 after 5pm on Thursday, April 10th. Please do the event, others, and yourself the courtesy of committing and pre-registering for the event. You can cancel up until 9 am on Saturday morning if you can't make it.

We have just about 72 people that are braving the conditions tomorrow to come out and play in the Wisconsin Tour Warm Up. That means 1 foursome on each hole which is pretty good. We even have 5 intermediate women which is very cool.

Just a warning now that I will be closing down online registration around 10PM tonight and then the event will be officially closed for all registration.

Thanks again to everyone that braved the conditions today. I think almost all of the participants from today will tell you that it wasn't nearly as bad as what was forecasted. It was far from gorgeous out there but it certainly could have been even worse.

Thanks Terry for putting on the event!!Loretta and I had a great time. Even if I did not play all that well it was good to get out and see old friends! And Loretta and the other 4 women sure seemed to enjoy themselves. I heard that Uncle joe gave them a verbal warning for having to much fun! It was great to see them out there. Now let's get a few more to participate. And the weather was NOT that bad, after all it is Wisconsin in spring time! See you next year for more fun in the sun. And concratulations to all thwe winners especially you and Rumble.

Glad to hear that you and Loretta had such at a great time at the WI Tour Warm Up. I'm really happy with how things turned out and that's partially a result of the pre-reg only option. That really makes things move along so much better for the entire event. I had payouts done on Friday night!

I have also gotten a number of positive responses back regarding the event and that's nice also. Look for the GMO to be awesome next month!
