We know have 40 members and counting. When we first started to re-organize I expected about 30 max, but to see the response and positive input we should still continue to grow.

The communication with the City has re-opened and nothing but positive has become of that. ALL NEGITIVE has been forgiven by The City of Irving and Parks and Rec.

Irving!!!!!!!!!!!

Membership has reached 54. Thanks to all for your support. I have a meeting w/ The Athletic Director from The Parks and Recreation Department on April 4 and look foward to showing him our numbers. This is a great way to show The City of Irving Disc Golf is still growing. Thanks again and I will let everyone know when the t-shirts and bag tags arrive.

Yea the bag tags and shirts really turned out great. The tags turned out better than I thought they would - alittle bigger than I thought, but look great. Ken is working on another design for more shirts in the future.

Manny, are there any 2x shirts left, i'm going to try and come out saturday morning and join the cult, i mean the clan, or uh the club that is. i'll try and get the seabolts and the charles cox out as well, maybe covalt will give me a ride, he lives just down the road, but he's so anti social that one. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I believe I have 1 more 2x left. The bag tags will be about 1-2 more weeks. I have to meet a minimum order and I'm a few short. If for some reason I do not have a 2x - I will be placing another t-shirt order soon.

Charles comes out often and so does that guy you call covalt. He is KC Dave to us(one of his many personalities) I'm sure. Do you think he knows Hershel Walker????

IDSA Membership will be $15 starting June 1, but the bag tag will not be included. T-shirts will still be included along with a chance for the ace pot.

Membership has reached 73 - It's been great seeing alot of the players from years back attending the Sat. mini. Can't beleive the club will be 25 years old next year. Thanks to The Arlington crowd - you guys have been a big help.

Anybody who joins before then will still get a bag tag right?

That is correct - Sorry for the delay for those who have not received their tags yet. The company I get the tags from have a minimum order, so I'm only going to order tags one more time. I will order extra tags w/ this order, but they will not have names on them - just the logo. New Members can pay the extra $5.00 for the tag(after May), but again no name will be on it.

I have about 15 - 20 people who have joined and are waiting for tags w/ their names. I can assure everyone will get their tags shortly after May. Hopefully next year there will not be as many delays as this year, but this is part of the learning pocess.

Sorry for the added info - to answer your question - Yes.....

The bag tags and t-shirts are now in for those who have not received them yet. I will have them with me at Harrington 6/14. I will be calling everyone I have #'s for - if you do not hear from me please send me a PM and I will make arrangements to get these items to you.

I will also be at Fritz on 6/17 for Tuesday doubles.

Membership is now at 84 - Thanks again to everyone for the support. The IDSA and disc golf is now being recognized by The City of Irving again and IPAR is really trying to help us out. This will be a slow process, but considering where we were just last year we are heading in the right direction. We are starting to have a few locals step up and take some responsibilty to make this work.

It's been great reading about all the different D/FW clubs re-organizing. D/FW disc golf is the BEST it has been in years and all the new courses being installed is remarkable. Keep up the GREAT work!!!!!! Disc Golfers Unite

Ken Reagan has been a great help going out and letting people know about the club. Great to have someone willing to put forth extra efforts. He has done a super job as our Course Pro and this allows me to concentrate on the administrative part of the club. Couln't have done it without his help.

Can't wait untill others really step up. Now that this has become reality I'm sure others will become more involved.

My Bro-in-law Garry actually talked the gate keeper into coming back later on Tuesday night.
