Our first ADGA Charity Event. We will have several over the course of the spring and summer building up to Thanksgiving and Christmas when we will use the money to adopt a local family in need.
What about entry costs? $2 for A.P. each round. The club will keep one dollar from each person. So we're up to $5 a person. Should we make it $10, $15 for the day? No payout in any division? Maybe do some CTPs?

do we get to shoot at the ace both rounds.
The reason we do a modified alternate on the second round is so that everyone gets to shoot at the ace both rounds.

On March 9th the ADGA will hold the first of an anticipated 3-4 charity events this year to help some needy family here in Arlington. We will play two rounds of doubles with the first round being a best of round and the second a modified alternate shot. Entry will be $30 a team with $5 per person going to an ace pot that everyone will be shooting at, $1 per person going to the club fund, and $9 per person going to the charity fund. There will be CTPs and prizes and if noone hits the ace we will throw it off.

We will only be going after the ace pot that is built off entries for that day and not the normal Sunday's ace pot?

That is correct, sir ( or madam as the case might be ). In the past we have done it this way to encourage participation by locals that aren't members.

Mr. Covalt says Skip should not throw cinder blocks from his glass house. Dave found this photo of Skipper from back in highschool:

What do you mean what happened? Just because I've got a few dozen wrinkles under my eyes doesn't mean I'm not still a hottie. As a matter of fact I still get propositioned by Covalt everytime he sees me. ( Don't tell you know who)
