Id like to know more info as well. I can easily get on here and find charters, bi laws, who the cabinet members are, ect for the other San Antonio area clubs, i.e. SADC and Live Oak, but cant seem to find anything on this one. Is there some type of mission statement, charter, bi laws, list of officers or members or the likes. Who runs this club, what is this clubs purpose. Seems overkill to have 2 clubs in the same city limits. I understand why one was needed so that it would be easier to deal with SAPR. Why does the city need a whole club to take care of one course? I dont think there are enough courses in SA yet for that. Maybe if there were as many as there are in Austin it would be feasible, but not with 3 courses inside the city limits. One club should easily be able to handle that.

Not bashing, these are just legit questions i would like answered to know what this club is about since it seems like this is a one man clan at this point. I hope its not personal vendettas keeping this club from working with the other SA club. Im not a member of either, just wanting some light shed on this so i can be more informed for my decision please. Thank you.

Obviously you don't have any vision. j/k

The only way to grow our sport is to think big. Those courses just won't appear out of thin air.

Every adventure starts with one small step.

If area clubs can work together, why not?

Thats all fine and good if thats the goal, however all of that is just speculation at this point. I just want to hear what the club is about from the person/people running it. These are easy questions to answer and i think these answers should be visible to those interested regarding vision and structure, especially since its a new club. For growth, those things are necessary in my opinion. Im not going to hop into something i know nothing about cause im ready to work when possible and want to be associated with like minded individuals.

I Finally found this thread!!

Jimbob & I are members of this club and LODGA and you don't have to have officers, bylaws etc.. to have a club... LODGA has been LODGA for 4 1/2 years and didn't get all that till this year takes time to get all that together...

GOOD JOB DAVID!!! JIMBOB & I WILL BE HERE IF YOU NEED US!!!

Thanks Member of ACDC this year has been good for the Club. It told longer to get the course in the ground but it was well worht the wait. The club was also able to raise money to help out other club. We raised and gave out over $500.00 for course improvment to UC. We were able to help out 4 events with over $700.00 and were able to reconize 4 indivial with over $200.00 of Disc. Last but not least we were able to give LODGA TD's for the 2008 and special gift which I think was Great. Looking for bigger and better things for next year
