I can generally do 5:30, but 5:00 is never gonna happen for me, at least not on a regular basis. 5:45 6:00 would mean that almost anyone can play, even those who get off at 5:00 and work more than 30 minutes away. I wish I could leave at 3:30 but my job just doesn't allow for that. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

i dont understand this, why would he want to run a mini where he had to stand around for two hours and then stand around for another 2 and 1/2 hrs after the last card went out. and if you were the first card, why would you want to hang around for 2hrs to get the results?

Lame! Dave Covalt says it is the most difficult course north of 820, west of 377, east of 35e and south of Keller. Besides, this is a woman's walking course. I will go to show them what I can drop-putt in the pan.

there are a few big open holes, but there are some cool shots on the course too. OB comes into play on many holes. It's worth a trip to play and decide for yourself whether or not you like it.

That andrew brown was an overgrown mess when I tried to play it. What I did see and play was a waste of baskets.

I'm fine either way, really. GB is just going to be slop-muddy. it was wet out there on sunday, and it's rained a ton since then. The lake course is pretty dry everywhere except hole 17 and even there isn't too bad. It's not that big of a deal to me, but if we do play GB, I'm wearing my waterproof shoes :)

It is too short notice for Haleigh and I but I highly recomend this course. Beutifull and a lot of fun to play. Some extremely difficult holes and I think most were in the short when I played it.

there is also apparently a 1-day at Z-Boaz that day. $5 to play, basically a 2-round mini, from what I understand. Not too much info floating around about it, but when I was at Z-Boaz yesterday I heard that it was going to happen. The current theory is that it's being run by a TCU sorority... who knows.

on a side note: I found another dog in my neighborhood today. This seems like an odd place to post this... but the last time I found a dog, this message board is how I found the owner.

This dog is overweight, about 45-50 lbs. Looks like a mix with strong australian cattle dog characteristics. She's female, and very friendly towards humans and other dogs. Probably between 7 and 10 years old. If anyone knows anything that might help me find the owner of this dog, please drop a line.

I only had two weekends to choose from, and this was the better choice. The only problem was that the saturday before is Founder's Day in Rockwall, and the Parks folks really want to be at the tournament to help out and to see what big-time DG is all about :). If not for Founders' Day, I would have made it a two-day. Tell your texarkana boys to take a day off and come play. I'll get them home in time for a full night's sleep before work on Monday :).

Another plus to doing it this way is that it allows folks to play doubles on saturday that might not normally be able to play on friday due to work. So it's kinda like a two-day tournament without all the formality on Saturday. Anyway, I hope you and your locals can make it. This tournament is going to play a large part in the city of Rockwall's decision to put in another course or two

one year at the MN Majestic, in a Sundog league event prior to the tournament, Minnesota Mike and me both played in the same division and Timmy Gill gave my payout to the other Mike. It was kind of funny.

also, PDGA shows that i played in the Seneca Spring Sling in 2006. That was Georgia Mike. I wish he would have played a little better, he dragged my rating down for awhile.
