planning on it tomorrow but I dunno about tonight. Ron left them kinda stranded but I'm sure it won't be long till someone else picks it up. I know at least 4 different people who have run that mini for at least a year each :). It's just a mini... not really that hard to do. My bet is that it will start over again next year with someone else at the helm. McKinney has several golfers who are willing and able. I'll play, no matter who runs it.

Well, how bad of a shot it was is all relevant to what he was trying to do. If he was trying to finish the hole/play golf, it may have been "The worst shot ever thrown at Greenbelt". If he was trying to take Bucky's head off then it was simply a bad shot. Furthermore, if Parker was thinking he would have a better angle at the basket from inside the house rather than in the bushes by the creek, well, then it was almost a perfect shot. My personal belief is that it is in contention for The Worst Shot Ever Thrown At Greenbelt.

advanced women are playing the same course as the Intermediate and Rec Men - one round from the longs in the morning (no championship tees) and one from the shorts in the afternoon. Advanced and Pro Men will be playing the Championship tees for the morning round, which add almost 1000 feet to the course, and probably 4-5 strokes.

They're the same format as the shortsleeve dry-fits that were so popular but significantly warmer for the upcoming DG season. If anyone in the club wants me to hold one, let me know. Need to thank Shabookie for bailing too so I wasn't DFL..just finshed playing as DFL... :) Some of the worst golf I have played in years, but sometimes that day hits

The event went something like this, Total cash payout $4,600, along with this all meals were provided, drinks and everyone's special surprise, a nice full bottle of Crown Royal on every tee pad.

I had mentioned to a few people last weekend that I would like to play Cedar Hill Saturday. I didn't know if anyone had started formulating a plan for next weekend yet, but I definitely would like to get my vote out there since I don't get to play too many Saturdays anymore and I haven't played there in forever.

Congrats to Bucky for another good showing in open. I think he might have figured this game out finally.

i know i was about 30 short of the hill, im not sure how far that throw was but it was a good distance for me! i lost my red wraith out there on the soccer field and some lil kid called me sunday and said he found it but i never get out to mckinney so that kinda sucks!

I was also just sent our ACP renewal for 2009. I assume we are going to register again this year as a club and take advantage of the discounts.

I have paid the $25 the last 2 years and don't mind doing so again as long as we get at least 10 renewals.

Looks like we can do this online this year, so let me know if we are going to renew again to keep our thread and club and I will get the passwords so we can renew online instead of through snail mail

havent thought about it! i stayed out til 5am last night and got 3 hrs of sleep and i have a party to attend this evening so i guess it depends on how im feeling in the am. i plan on being out there atleast by 11 or 12 to get in a round or so before the mini but if im up early enuf ill come join the dallas boys!!!!
