Two days after Christmas and someone steals my BAG with all my new discs, and EVEN MY SPARES!!!

My bag is as follows:

Maroon and Grey Carolina bag with maroon quad shocks.

(2) Z and (2) ESP Avengers, ESP and FLX Predators, (3) PINK ESP FLASHES!!!, (4) Z Wasps, Lime green Champ Destroyer, (2) Star Destroyers, and my two new Warlocks (purple and black) in the side pocket.

I even just bought four new night lights and they were in the pocket in a medicine bottle.

It was stolen from Lake Lewisville.

My name and phone number is on most of the discs.

Sorry to hear that. That's pretty low. Emac just had his bag(full of discs) stolen in Austin. Some sort of new trend? Where were you, the port-a-potty?

yes, very lame. If I were you, I'd put a call into the local (Lewisville and Carrollton) Play it Again Sports locations. stolen gear usually ends up there, and they should be willing to work with you to help you get it back.

It was right by the first tee.

how many times have you lost a disc in the woods and wanted to say someone must have picked it up. stolen means, broke into his car or straight up jacked him for it. i'm just curious as to how you get a bag stolen, i know how to lose one, i have done that alot.

Badgering the witness,....the perp.....

Listen here Johnnie Cochran, I'm just trying to get the facts. If he left it unattended then there is something to learn from here. However, if a streaker ran by and grabbed it as he passed then it's just an act of god and there's nothing we can learn from. :D

Well, it was freak thing.

I was loading my truck, loading the dog (my bull mastiff goes everywhere with me), changing my shirt, etc and somehow my bag never got loaded in the truck and I drove off without it. I wasn't gone 20 minutes and I came back to get it, and it was gone.

So, I guess someone "found" it, huh?

It was an honest, dumb mistake, but I was only gone a few minutes, and there was plenty of info in the bag with my name on it and phone number. If someone wanted to be a man they could have returned it.

So, I guess I am a (you know what) for leaving my bag, but the guy who took it is a bigger (you know what). There are several things unique on that bag, and I guarantee if this is a DG player I WILL see it again.

So there was no "breaking and entering" just simple theft.

What you are refferring to is "breaking and entering" or in the latter case would be called "armed robbery" or "assault and robbery".

Both are more serious crimes than simple theft.

Theft is when someone takes something when you are not looking and does not return it.

I certainly hope you do not feel you are entitled to simply "find" someone else's stuff and claim it as you own... Like the next time you park your car, someone might "find it" and take it home.

I remember one time I had my car broken into and the stereo stolen. I called the police department to report it. After telling the officer about the theft, he proceeded to tell me it WAS MY FAULT!!! He told me if I had bought the stereo in the first place, no one would have stolen it!!! This is like blaming the rape victim for being attractive to the rapist.

I have learned one thing. There is a proportion of disc golfers cannot be trusted. This is sad.

I feel your pain Bradley. It really bothers me when something is taken by someone who obviously knows it's NOT THEIRS! With just about everyone carrying cell phones nowadays it seems you would have received a phone call by now if the scumbag planned on returning it. I'd do what Josh recommended and call the PIAS in Lewisville and Carrollton.
