I've officially set up a local PreRegistration system! You can now PREREG at the following site:
http://www.tadga.com/store/
The fee is the most modest you will find at only $1.50 per entry, just enough to cover paypal fees (we lose a few cents on more expensive divisions, make a few cents on cheaper divisions, evens out).
(I may open up use of the store to TDs from other communities, there aren't many sites offering it with such low fees but we have no desire to profit and all desire in the world to help out the surrounding disc communities)
Anyway, if you have any issues at all just contact me and I'll try to work them out, but so far from the tests I've run it has worked perfectly.

Tourney stamped Discraft disc are now in to go along with the other 800 plus disc available for Am Player Packs, Prizes, & Gifts.
Our winter T.I.T.S.point series has (3) 2007 events & (3) 2008 events. Your points earned during the (3) 2007 Winter tourneys will transfer to the new 2008 divisions, therefore if you are an Intermediate 890 rated player and starting 2008 you would be a Recreational player because your rating is below 900. We will compare your tourney score to everyone in that new division of 850 to 900 and get points series points based on your score comparison for the tourney.
Therefore, you will be playing the 1st 3 tourneys under the old 2007 divisions but earning point series points under the new 2008 divisions. Should work out perfect and comparing apples and apples.

Same thing for Pro in 2007 vs. Expert in 2008??

Its no longer the Expert division. They renamed it Advanced....

Just for clarifications they changed the name back but kept the changes in the division breaks. They also renamed the lower division to Novice.

I think that what Mike is saying is this:
For the winter series' first three events you will be given points based on how well you competed within your ratings break within the amateur divisions.
All amateurs with ratings 935+ will be given points based on how they compete against each other.
All amateurs with ratings between 900-934 will be given points based on how they compete against each other.
Etc. etc. on down the amateur ranks, with no regard for divisional break during the tournament itself. This will only be in effect during the first three events in order to keep a consistent point series, and will only affect the amateur divisions. If you play Open you will be given points based on your placement within the Open division.
Hopefully that explanation was not too convoluted.

Forcast for Sunday (11/25) looks good, 40 and partly sunny. Eat all the turkey you want all weekend and come out Sunday and throw some of it off.
Lots of added sponsorship, plus $5 Lunch gift certificates (McDonalds or Subway)for the 1st 40 to pre-reg or register day of event.
Registration will be in the heated lodge which I rented for the event.
At least $500(+) in added sponsorship for the event.
Great AM player packs !

It's not letting me pre-reg. What paypal address should i send $40.50 to?
ChrisWoj
Nov 20 2007, 03:53 PM
That is odd. You're the first I've heard an issue with.
You can PayPal to c.woj.putt@gmail.com
If you get on AIM my name is Hiwo Rldiq Uit and I can try to see what the issue is with the pre-reg. So far everyone else I know of has gone through fine, so we can see what the issue is.

I've received a few more pre-regs since Jared's message here. From how he described it, there seemed to be an issue on PayPal's end. Right now the system is working fine. Safe to pre-reg for the first three events in the TITS Series.

According to the admin numbers you haven't registered on the store site, which is required to shop. Registering takes just a couple of minutes, and allows you to quickly and easily register for other events in the future without needing to re-type your information.

Your admin numbers must be wrong.
ChrisWoj
Nov 21 2007, 03:16 PM
No, they're not. If you've registered your name would be on the list. I have it in front of me right now, a listing of all the people that have registered. The system is completely automated, it quite literally can not skip the step of placing your name on this list.
You have not registered on the store site. You can register at the following address:
http://www.tadga.com/store/cart.php?act=reg

When I hit "submit and continue" it clears all the fields and does not advance to the next page, if there is a next page.

Charles,
I just tested the registration system in Internet Explorer, Opera, and Firefox. The registration page worked fine. Do you have cookies enabled on your browser?
Matt,
Please describe the issues you're having.
So far, outside of Jared's issue which ended up being with the PayPal.com site, you two are the first two that have had issues with the store. And thus far it sounds like something on your end.

Charles, are your cookies enabled and which browser are you using?
With cookies enable I confirmed that it works with the following:
Firefox, Firefox2, Internet Explorer7, Internet Explorer6, and the latest version of Opera. I've also had a friend confirm it works with Safari for the OS X platform.
If you are using any of these browsers with cookies enabled, then the issue is something deeper on your end. It definitely isn't anything on TADGA.com's end, judging by every test I've run.
Matt, your issues apparently beyond web browsing, I wish you the best of luck with those.

we're sorry your fingers are too fat to use the keyboard. Please mash the keyboard and you will be connected to an operator to order a dialing wand.

Netscape, wow. Okay. Try the following...
http://kb.iu.edu/data/ahic.html#net6moz - This is to clear your browser's cache. This is the only issue I could think of that could be causing your problem.
I just installed Netscape myself and had absolutely no issue registering for the site.

I'm not professional tech support. Really I've done all I can without being at your computer. It works perfectly in Netscape Navigator off of a fresh install. Somewhere along the line you must have messed up your settings somehow. I can't help you.

Heya, swamped for school so the results are on Justin Gill this time.
Bennett won Open.
Gabris won Advanced.
Weather stayed nice all day long, with some light snow flakes toward the end of the second round. Turnout was pretty solid as well.
