We have picked a date for the Ace Race at the Vet. Saturday October 13th. The Adga's own Jiggly-man (John Maiuro) and Keither Machen will be running it. Pre-register with John because he has to order all the packages before the event.
Thank you, That is all.

When copying someone else's post, I guess it helps to paste the info into the correct thread. It wasn't early when I mistakenly posted to the ADGA thread, so I can't use the "I haven't had my morning java" excuse.

Thanks for the Ace Race disc image, John. Our August event in Pittsburgh will be the first DCODAR I've ever competed in. Sounds like a blast! :)

Yes, but you did play in several " Ace in the Oaks " events at the Vet long before DCODAR came along. :D

Skip....back then, didn't we refer to it as the "par 2" course? /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

No, Jerry, it was always take the one shot and move on.
The problem was you kept hitting the keg so often that you never heard us telling you to quit putting out!!!!! :D

For what it's worth, this year's prototype disc is far better IMO than the ones we've seen the past few years. I already have two of them from the Denton Ace Race, but I might just have to order another set from my hero :D

Who would have thunk it?

Old School ADGAer transplanted in Austin now, drives up this morning from Austin for the ACE RACE and wins the event. Greg had 1 ace and 2 metals.

Keith Machen had an ace, Skip Maxwell had an ace AND a metal and was in contention the entire time missing more metals by inches.

Brian Lamoreaux killed ANOTHER tree for no reason by turning in ANOTHER blank score card. :D

Greg ended up giving everyone that wanted one a disc out of his winnings. Very cool Greggy! Now go get a hair cut! :p

Some old guy?????? That punk was wearing diapers when he threw his first disc a few years ago. Why he just barely squeezes in as a Master this year the big baby. How he managed to win this without a Ram is beyond me.

but i love im
Way to go Greg and that was really cool giving all those young players a disc out of the bag. You da man.

W/O the RAM is right Skip. Now get the PDGA to approve that disc and I might have a fighting chance. It actually worked for little ol' me. Dalton it's always a pleasure to see you and your family especially @KTS. Dalton stay in school and quit running late to your grammar class. Ace race was a blast. Thanks to John and everyone who played. See ya'll in three weeks!
