2-Person Team Match Play 8/18 in Big Rapids

Club Dead will be hosting a team match play event on Saturday, August 18 at Northend Riverside Park in Big Rapids.

Matches will be handicapped according to PDGA ratings and league averages.

Cost is $20 per person.
Registration 9 - 9:30.

Match play doubles from the Blue Tees in the morning.
Match play singles from the Red Tees in the afternoon.

Cash payouts for winning matches, placing in divisional stroke play (doubles and singles), and for the team earning the most points for the day.

This would be an excellent way to prepare for the Discraft Invitational Team Challenge.

I think you must think some of the words in your first two sentences mean something other than what you think they mean!

By definition stroke play could involve handicap play but not match play.

You get a handicap based on ratings and then play a match.

It is a quite good system it is what we use for the Michigan Intercollegiate Disc Golf Challenge Series
