#1 white tee box at waterworks

WTF? Surely there must be a reason that the front of the tee box faces about 80 degrees away from the basket. Someone have plans for a mando marker out in the fairway? If the purpose is just to put the tree next to the box in play, why not leave the right front corner where it is and rotate the other three corners so that the future pad faces in the general direction of the target.

The tree on the right is a mando, blocking the hyzer.

I figured that part, but it seems making a big tree on the right a mando would be sufficient to take away the hyzer (apologies to lefties) without having to enforce it with a tee box perpendicular to the line of vision to the pin. With a second mando marker out in the fairway it would make sense.

Yep... that's why I threw my two cents worth in before any sort of permanent pad happens. Thanks again to everyone involved in designing and installing the course. Makes for a fun 27.
