Greetings from Montreal, WI.

The Michigan Chalet was talking about making a post on here for you back home to get a closer look at World's and ask questions, or make fun of us.

Mark Ellis, Jen and Jeff Kuehle, Ben Calhoun, Geoff Bennett, Jeremy Swan, Brent Koontz(Indiana- michigan wannabe), Michael and Jenny Wildner, and Myself make up the members of the Chalet.

The weather has been nice. Extremely sunny, and pretty hot. The courses are fun, but we are in the middle of nowhere. Not much cell phone coverage, and it is difficult to find a restaurant. Doubles starts tomorrow...and I have to get some putting in....bye for now.

Team Bennett/Wood took 4th in doubles. I believe Ellis and his partner did well too, but I have not heard yet. Plantz/Bee shot a hot -9 on Blueberry this morning to take cash...not sure what place.

congrats team MI doubles players! unfortunately MI MIxed dubs team didnt do quite as well. we played good but had a a couple bad holes. it was a ton of fun though!
the courses are beautiful, and the weather is great too.

Also good work JK and ZV breaking 1000 in opening rounds, keep it up Team Tilleys! This is looking like a repeat of last years AM - Worlds, except instead of Paul Ulibarri you now have KC, Doss and Borg to deal with!!

Brent Koontz....who wants to see a lepricon, say yeeeaahhhh. 5th place at worlds, F-ing awesome!!

It was an interesting day. Moderately windy in the morning, but the winds picked up in the afternoon. A pool got a bit of a better draw as they played Granite Ridge in the calmishness of the morning. Although, it was windy all day.

Joe, my favorite course thus far is Highbridge Gold. It is a sweet course. I look forward to playing it tomorrow!

Mark Ellis is rocking it....so is Bennett. Michiana is having a good worlds so far!

Ben Calhoun got a 2 on hole 7 on Granite Ridge. Crazy.....

Its been fun so far...more to come later. :cool:

Yeah, I've noticed on a few broadcasts. It sounds like some of them are in easier positions, some of them are in more difficult positions. All in all it really doesn't sound like much of a difference in SSA.

note though I'm not at all saying you guys are playing at the same level I was a year ago. From everything I've heard the wind is making things 100x harder. I'm sure in the conditions that are currently out there my scores would be in the 60s.
