Soooo should I find a partner and play okie dubs or should I go play an A tier in Kansas in August??

Thats a tough one. Emporia puts on a great event and the courses are nice.

But playing Okie wil save you more $$$ just on hotel and meals.

Me and Erwin are playing in the Mens Advanced Amateur division. You can count on more beers being consumed on our card than anyone elses ;)

You gotta stay hydrated out there, right?

OKC is alcohol friendly. Will Rogers-beer, Woodson-Listerine, both alcohol, just different strengths :D

… the pre-tourney Polls just hit the AP wire service … I have to say that I agree with their predictions … at the PDGA B-Tier event in Ft.Smith this weekend , it appears that OKLAHOMA will do well …
.
… predictions by Division :
.
… Open Pro : Chris Wagle / OK
.
… Pro Masters : Carl Rogers / OK
.
… Advanced : Greg Winsworth / OK
.
… Adv.Masters : Mike Click / OK
.
… Adv. Masters Women : Kim Click / OK
.
… Adv. GrandMasters : (tie) Wayne Forest & Martin Norris / both from OK
.
… Amateur : Bryan Hinds / OK
.
.
… other Okies are in-the-mix as well … but the RPI from both the AP and Coaches Poll show these at the top …

.

When are the scores going to be up?

mutt
Aug 18 2007, 11:52 PM
I think tomorrow keldog. If I am correct open has coda and kyle leading at -31 with Larry G and James Hall at -30. I have no idea on advanced. DJ and Joe T I think leading GM by 6 at -24. Inter has a couple at -11 other than that I cant tell you much.

Players pack is a water bottle :)

.
.
... kinda true ... actually didn't have a "Players-Pack" , which kept all-them-payouts-in-all-them-divisions phat ... there were a few "custom-like , tinted-like , fancy-schmancy , hydration-holding-devices" (aka water-bottles) handed-out to early-in sign-ups from Click ... he went out-of-pocket for about 130 of them ... we didn't tap payout for any amount though ... :D...
.
.
... now , if I could just get Mikey to a computer-keyboard ; I'd get you some scores typed-up and put-them-onto-this-message-board-thingy also ...

… the 2007 edition of OKIE DOUBLES was fantastic-o … I just funneled all the Results-Sheets to our webmaster at TDSA , Steve Ward … even though “recordkeeping” is not on computer during our Event (non-sanctioned) ; we do get caught-up and show ‘em on the Website … it may be a few more days for Ward …
.
… oh , and early reports were “off” about the New State Record for Tournament-attendance … was thought to be 234 …
.
.
… is now 236 Players … 2007 Okie Doubles … OKC , America ...

... and as a final side-note comment > the MOST FUN , most-rowdy , most-wildest , most-ear-to-ear-grinning , most-nutso Card-Group out there had to be that whole pack with Conners , Murphy , and the-rest-of-their-dancers ... :D ... that bunch knew how to ENJOY ... nuff said
