Have not played it but Terry said it is relatively open but water may come into play on a few holes. Wind and distance will dictate the scores. Tees won't be in until next year until they see how the course plays. That's all the info I have.

Most of the holes are fairly wide open, with a trees outlining most of the holes. Lots of Dueces but with any kind of wind, those 2's can become 4's. There is some water, not too much though.

if this course is fairly open would you compare it to Dineen Park? is the course long, short, a good mix? any par 4's? just want to get any info I can because the price of gas is too high to drive up there and check it out so any more info about the layout I can get would be great, thanks RJ

I would certainly get signed up for this if you haven't already. I know the registration looks low now but it is a new course and if it is nice out Daddy J just might have to turn people away. As always, pre-registering one way or another is the best bet. Does anyone want to drive all that way just to get shut out? It doesn't make much sense does it?
The course was added to the PDGA course directory today. Here is the direct link to the Oshkosh course (http://www.pdga.com/course/courses_by_city.php?id=2707) for your viewing pleasure. The directions on there are pretty sweet and simple.
We will again have FREE WOODCHUCK (http://www.woodchuck.com) available for everyone (of age). They have been great to us for the GMO, FVO, and the Pickle and we just need people to drink their free hard cider. That's not too much to ask is it?

41 North to the last Oshkosh exit (Jackson St). Big landfill will be on your right. At the bottom of the off ramp turn right. Go approx. 1 mile to the first traffic light and turn left. Approx. 1/2 mile down that road will be the entrance to the park on the right.
Once you see the landfill (just past the prison) you're basically there. The park is just on the other side of the landfill (no, it doesn't stink). :D
