But check this out. This is an 11 year old that I used to get beat by regularly when I lived in NC (he would beat me when he was 9 and 10 also). He's setting the age record for distance throwing further than I would wager most of the ADGA members could throw.

David Wiggins Jr. record setting throw (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CUzwIl2N38)

Oh, and he is also a 917-rated golfer and 3x Junior World Champ. Two of those victories were by 99 strokes.

I was there Chris, actually I asked around, trying to see who you were. so I could put a face with all the posts. But everytime I asked, you were'nt around. I'll try harder at the next event.

I am just trying to spread the word . In the last 2 months, 4 baskets have come up missing in the Eagle Mountain / Saginaw area in Ft. Worth Texas. 3 baskets missing in Saginaw, and as I discovered the # 7 basket is missing @ the John Hauck designed Eagle Ranch. If you have them in the ground, do something , they are out there . If anybody comes across a random course with a bunch of different baskets , shout @ the discboomer , I would like a word or two with whomever is responsible .The Eagle Ranch basket is a fairly new Discatcher with the words " **** the elevation " scribbled across the belt. The Saginaw baskets will stick out because they have large green numbers on the top, or the toppers will be burned from the welder that was used to fix the numbers to the top. If you have any info, I would love to get it . Thank you..

[ quote ]Greetings,

Hope all of you are well. The time for an FFC meeting is upon us . More important , the time for some good times is upon us . The Board of Directors wish to invite all members to a little gathering on Thursday April 26th. This will be an opportunity for members to come face to face with each other, and have a little fun along the way. This will also give us the opportunity to put a little money into the club funds.

What I am proposing .....

ACE RACE : TRINITY PARK
BE THERE 6:30 P.M. TO GET THINGS A' ROCKIN

The way this will all go down is very simple .

I will need either 6 or 9 temp baskets, I can provide 1 , I am sure many others can do the same . I will set up a temporary course in trinity park ( directions to follow ) , very short in stature , and very fun to play . Those in attendance will have the opportunity to not only pay out on EVERY ACE HIT , but also, the race winner will be the first official tee sign sponsor of the new course .

The cost will be 6 dollars.

2 dollars for the sign sponsorship
4 dollars to the payout

There will be 18 chances to get paid. If a basket is used more than once , there will be a different line on each tee shot . The most aces wins the right to the first tee sign sponsorship. Prior to the ace race, there will be a little meet and greet for all the members , and a brief yet informative meeting .. 6:30 will be the latest we can start the meeting , and that should be adequate time to make it to downtown..

Please reply if you have any questions . Looking forward to seeing all of you. Also, please feel free to bring whomever you wish. This is all about good times, for a good cause. And who knows, we may sign up a new member or two...

Good day to you all, [ quote / ]

Ok guys, it is on !!!

Funkytown Flyers Club meeting .

This Thursday, the 26th of April

Trinity park , 7th street entrance , @ the pavillion on the 1st parking lot . The pavillion is adjactent to the duck pond.

We will meet for a brief meeting , to go over the actions of the B.O.D. , and the work we have been doing since we met last . Go over some new topics , and most important , get the club together for some fun.

The ace race is simple ... I have set up 9 holes which we will all play twice. All are very aceable . All are very fun. This will not be like anything you have played before. It will be a nice blend of natural and " urban " obstacles , with some interesting lines through some interesting spaces .

The entry is 6 dollars , 4 to pay out , 2 to a tee sign sponsorship which will be awarded to the winner .

The meeting will start @ 6:30 sharp, the ace race will be soon to follow .

All that plan on attending , and consuming alcoholic beverages , prepare to abide by the laws currently enforced by the good folks down @ Ft Worth P.D.

Any questions , please call me ....

This meeting is not only for club members, bring anybody that wants to have a good time . Perhaps some that will be interested in purchasing a bag tag or a club membership..

I PROMISE THIS WILL BE FUN.. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE .

This is about having a good time , and raising money for the next course in Tarrant county. A course which all will be able to play, unlike some "fairytale" disc golf courses I have heard of .... :D

Just trying to communicate with some of the ADGA/FFC members ...

geez lee, i've only been playing moody's since about 2000... you make it sound like no one has ever heard of it. we all are heartened, however, that you are starting to learn more about the sport and broaden your perspective a bit.

btw, that number is way off, and its gonna be natural turf.

Yo Suzette,

You know it girl! I know, I know......a super Hero isn't supposed to give away all of their secrets but look at all of those HOT action figures of my friends!!!!

I'll also go ahead and admit that i'm a superHero whose kryptonite is food. I've noticed a little extra jiggle when i wiggle, if you know what i mean. Hopefully some of my girlfriends will still accept some action from this fine, full-figured SuperHero. :D

Yo comprendo, mi amigo. Mucho trabajo.
I've clocked an average of 50 hrs a week for a while now and I've also traveled about 3000 mi. in the last mo. with multiple trips to Kansas, Oklahoma, and south Texas.
Still hoping you can get free, though.
Also, are you going to be able to come through with a couple of CTPs or something from the FTFs?

My eyes are old. I see a bunch of furry little bunnies in ugly crimson colored uniforms.
Don't worry about my Vols Mr. Kinter. Saban's feelings will be hurt after the first game because the press won't bow down at his feet telling him how brilliant he is. Didn't that happen before? That's right, they took TCU's worthless reject coach who quickly found a bigger and better deal. (Leave it to Francine to think A&M is a better coaching job than BAMA).
