I'm coming to Norman the first 3 weeks of August for training at the Postal Trng. Fac. I know "Don't go Postal", no worries here. Looking for info on the local courses (directions and handicap times) Thanks for any help. "Grip it and rip it!"

I recommend playing Griffin, but all 3 courses are cool. A lot of locals bash Colonial's course but I think it's fun to play.

We have three courses here all within ten minutes of the postal center. There are mini's during the week at all of them. Lions is my favorite but Griffin Park is the toughest course here and the city.

Dude what school are you coming out for ?
IF it is your first school there ( as I am guessing per post ) and it is 3 weeks long it must be IES .
I have been going to Norman for about 12 years and am considered normans second disc golf son LOL
Actually they call me Pennsylvania Bill out there
I have been to over a dozen PDGA events in the NORMAN OK area and have played almost every course in the norman/ OKC area .
When are you going in august . I probably wont be able to go at that time but still let me know and I will do what I can to help you thru your first venture into OKLAHOMA GOLF .

There should be some kind of organized event going on almost every day going on around here in August. When you get your schedule figured out, let me know.

I know that MANY years ago the out of town postal trainees stayed in some apartments that are right across the street from Colonial. If that's still true, you are hooked up, it's a fun course. Then again, it's Norman, which means the other 2 courses, which are less than a mile apart, are within a 10 minute drive.

How long has it been for you in Norman . LOL
THe postal training center is out on Rt 9( right past 24th st ) about a mile and a half away from Colonial , about 4 miles from NElions and 5 miles from Griffen .
