Just getting the thread started that we will be back in Janesville for the 2007 Wisconsin Tour Warm Up.
Jake Jacobson is 'the man' and has been very critical with the entire Janesville development. This event will host some type of raffle or fund raiser so Jake and others can continue to improve on this awesome course.
I will have registration information posted within the week. It will be a PDGA C-Tier and it won't be as muddy as previous years for 2 reasons
1) It will be in April (versus March)
2) Jake said they are only a few short of having all tee pads be concrete. There is even a chance that by the time of the event all 18 of them will be done!
I am going to do something new this year to ensure smooth events - there will be ZERO on site registration for Saturday's players (Adv & Pros). Pre-registration will help the entire event run smoother, quicker, and more efficient. i'd like to say that Sunday's players can still sign up on Saturday night but if this event is anything like last year's that won't happen because we'll be sold out!
Stayed tuned for more details posted on here in the next few days.
On a day like today it's sure is nice to think about the Wisconsin Tour WARM Up!

Registration for this event is up and running. There are a few oddities about this event so please be sure to be diligent and read carefully!
First and foremost - there will be ZERO day of registration for Saturday's competition. If this event is anything like last year that won't even matter because we had 105 registered last year along with 30+ on a waiting list. However, even if we were to have 50 pre-registered we wouldn't take anymore during Saturday morning. This is to help the event run more smoothly. Please note that if there are any openings still for Sunday you may be able to sign up on Saturday night or Sunday morning but I wouldn't count on it.
Secondly, check the divisions and which days they play. The only 'odd' one is the fact that Adv Masters play on Sunday and not Saturday.
As always, you are more than welcome to mail in your entry forms instead of using my site. Contact me or check out the registration pages if you need my address.
However here are the pre-registration pages for the event:
Saturday Pre-Registration (http://www.takeflighttoday.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=140)
Sunday Pre-Registration (http://www.takeflighttoday.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=141)
We will have CUSTOM discs as part of the player's packs and hopefully we'll be able to provide free lunch like in past years! Get signed up today because I'm expecting a full field of 90 players per day!

A few of us from Tennessee may be up there working for a while, and may hope to compete in this tournament. What are the actual dates for this tournament? Thanks in advance for the info.

Someone asked me this weekend about being able to pre-register in person or via snail mail.
Anyone is welcome to mail their registrations to me or to drop them off at my house (hopefully when I'm home) and the address for doing that is: Terry Miller | 14781 Hidden Creek Ct | New Berlin, WI 53151.
You do not have to use the online registration. I encourage you to mail in or pay me in person as soon as you know you are going because this will fill up.
Orders are being placed this week for custom Innova discs for this event.

Registrations are now coming in via snail mail and the Take Flight Today website. There are only 81 spots left for Saturday and if you that's plenty take a look at the 115 person field that was there last year! Here are some updated links:
Registration via Take Flight Today - Saturday (http://www.takeflighttoday.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=140)
Currently Pre-Reg'd for Saturday (http://www.pdga.com/tournament/tournament_results.php?TournID=6638)
Registration via Take Flight Today - Sunday (http://www.takeflighttoday.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=141)
Currently Pre-Reg'd for Sunday (http://www.pdga.com/tournament/tournament_results.php?TournID=6639)
Again - custom stamped discs for almost everyone!
<font color="red">*** Update *** I forgot to mention that I have over 20 pairs of Bite Shoes in stock right now and if you are looking for a size I don't have you should contact me asap so I can try to get them by the date of the event. </font>

Played 2 rounds at Janesville today. The weather was fantastic. The course is in great shape (NO mud) and the place was packed. Can't wait for the event! Bathrooms are not open yet though. Get out and enjoy!

Thanks for the updates Mike! Glad you got out to the course on such a nice day.
Registrations are coming in and we are already at 15 for Saturday! I know of at least 10 people that have said they are coming but haven't sent their stuff in yet. Everyone will be scrambling days before the event to try and get one of the last spots so save yourself the headache and just mail in or get online and get paid.

Hey everyone!
I'm still on my way home from the Am Bowling Green event but I will have about 5 to 10 registrations to get posted once I get home.
The event is now less than 2 weeks away.
Shark, I know there is an event just about every weekend of the year and I'd gladly be at the install but I sorta have obligations to run this event since I've been planning it for a few months now. I hope anyone some people can play one day and work Saturday if they are not playing.

25 entered for Saturday (http://www.pdga.com/tournament/tournament_results.php?TournID=6638)
16 entered for Sunday (http://www.pdga.com/tournament/tournament_results.php?TournID=6639)
I have a handful of people that said they are submitting their entries in the next few days.
Did I mention that we are giving out custom discs at the event as part of the player's pack. It might be similar to laast year's GMO where you can get either 2 custom DX discs or 1 custom Star disc. Better get signed up to find out.

Hey Mike,
I'd gladly do just as you suggested. Secure your spot with a pre-registration payment and then refund it if you cannot make it. I just ask that you let me know by 8pm on Friday night if you are coming or not.
I full expect this to fill considering we had 115 present last year with a waiting list that was 30 deep.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll wait for your entry and then get you on the list.

Course is looking great!
Took the boys down there today, for a couple rounds, and the tee pads greatly improve the course.
Looking foreward to next week!

A few updates:
We are up to 42 Sat and 36 Sun. I took about 8 more calls today with people saying they are planning to come one way or another.
I'm also thinking about opening up the field to EVERYONE on Sunday. This isn't final yet but it's a thought.
And finally - I got an update from Janesville. They got about 4 inches of snow today and the local guys said the course will be 100% ready to go by Saturday morning.
Get signed up!

Yeah definately nice that snow totals were a LOT less than they had originally predicted... with a warm day today and tomorrow it shouldn't be bad at all out there.
If I didnt have projects to do for school on sunday I would definately be down for it....

AWESOME WEATHER FORECAST (http://www.weather.com/outlook/recreation/golf/tenday/53545?from=36hr_fcst10DayLink_golf) is upon us.
Just a few days ago they were saying 70% chance of wind and rain and 40 degrees as a high. Now we are just 1.5 days away and they are saying highs over 50 degrees with very little chance of precipitation.
46 people registered for Saturday now and 37 for Sunday! Online reg is your best option OR you can hunt me down on the course tomorrow. I will be in Janesville for most of the day.

Wow,
What a beautiful day for golf! Virtually no wind and the temps were just about right. We had 55 total players (http://www.pdga.com/tournament/tournament_results.php?TournID=6638) turnout for the day. Things were very smooth and nearly 20 people even stuck around afterwards for a rousing doubles round. Lustig Park is just such a fun course!
I took more registrations today and currently I'm up near 50 for tomorrow. Come on down because we have room for you as well as custom stamped discs and plenty of CTPs.
Thanks.
