Bob ordered some great tags this year. They are very cool, good job Bob. Here is your forum to brag and tell cool bag tag stories. I played Kyle and defended even though he was up by two with four holes left. It was a great match. Tags are a lot of fun. ;)

yep for 6 holes Barney was playing great then it was down hill from there. But in those 6 holes I gave him enough cusion to cruise to the finish. But I did take a stroke per hole from 14 through 16 with a Basket hit on 15. One foot higher and it would have been Money!!!!!

Yeah, I'm an idiot! Sometime between leaving Pawhuska on Saturday and finishing a round at Northshore on Sunday morning, the #8 HOG TAG has jumped off my bag. Donkey Tag Challenge is coming to a close it is time to get ready to play some match play. Details-Donkey Tags freeze on the October 28th after the Oklahoma Open. No more playing and get me your numbers either by phone or by PM or by email(dasunkeylor@yahoo.com) I will get the bracket ready to go. I have been looking at the dates and it looks like the best weekend will be the 17th and 18th of November. Let me know what you think. That would be the weekend before Thanksgiving, also the weekend of the players cup. I did not think many of us would go. I am flexible a little bit, this weekend would work the best for me. First round will be from shorts, the rest will be regular course. Top four get a free tag next year if we are still going to do tags. Please give me some feedback and let me know what you think.

If you're going to do it the weekend of 17th and 18th, that will be pretty much 4 weekends in a row of disc golf. That makes it difficult for some people to get off work. It might be a minority that this is a problem for, but i suggest the first weekend of december.

It will only be a two day if we have over 32 participants. We cannot fit it into one day with more than 32 even if we play from sun-up to sun-down. Also, it will only be a two day for those that survive if there are more than 32. 32-16 (first round) 16-8 (second round) 8-4 (third round) 4-2 (fourth round) 2-1 (fifth round)=one day event. 32+ adds one more round we can try to squeeze it into one. Even when we have only had 32 in the past we played till dark. I know this year we have more tags out. I do not know if everyone is going to play.

So the dates are Nov 17th and 18th? Dasun asked for feedback and it sounds like your saying that it is officially these dates. What is the point of giving feedback if you have already decided that these are the dates? Why does it only work out on the 17th and 18th? What issues do you run into in December? The first weekend of Dec should not conflict with anyones holiday plans. The only reason I'm suggesting moving it back is that fact that alot of us " including myself " cannot get alot of weekends off. It makes it difficult to attend the functions going on in late Oct and Nov. So this is my feedback. Take it as you will. :)

Anyways I don't think we're gonna need 2 days, we talked about a 2 day match last year and like 10 people showed up. Between cold weather and family/work conflicts I don't think we're gonna see anywhere near 32.

Well, the Lord gave us a beautiful day. Thank you to everyone for coming out and having a good time. Thank you Bob for cooking. Thanks to the club for providing the food and payout. Thank you to all who donated plastic Mayo and Kyle. Buck played a great round and beat me to play for the championship, good job Buck.
