Right now St. Louis is the tourney we are probably hitting that weekend. Things can very easily change though. There is also talk of hittin Iowa close to that time too. That would really shake the plans. As of now though it is St. Louis. Unless we hit state champs and play St. Louis during mid-nats.

A pavillion is being built on #13's fairway(It's gone) and the old #1 needs to be shuffled to another location.
In all 3 holes are being redesigned with alternates being put in.

Some players don't have as much natural ability or develop slower than some others, yes I hope to be an awesome very skilled player someday, but reality keeps me where I'm at, still having fun and contributing to the overall aspect of the sport as I can. 838 player rating and still stepping up to 875-915 rating division if not higher :p

Bagging is running from open to open masters when the competition looks tough :D

Being a pro-am event in this part of the country, what will we pull? 10 to 20 pros would be reasonably outstanding growth, sure, ams want to see outstanding pro players so I hope that it's even more. Am turnout? 30 to 60 ams could also be reasonable guestimate. both are contributing to the tourney's success.

Old story, who contibutes more, pro or am, who's more important? I think it's equal or at least should be...

Well the trip to Wyco was sweet! Course was huge. I haven't ever had to hit so many distance lines. Gates BBQ is the BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finished 7th. Jason finished 16th. Pure and utter domination.

Played all the courses today except Dretzka New. Dineen is pretty short and open (kinda lame). Dretzka was pretty average all around. Brown Deer was AWESOME, and extremely difficult. There are little kids here that shot 4 or 5 strokes better than any of us! :o Tourney starts tomorrow.

Oh yeah, and I won the Doggy Paddle Championship! The purse was $3. I dominated!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone noticed that Zac Cobus is playing ADVANCED at this year AM world championships??? Didnt he accept a bunch of cash in the last few years and even take 3rd at the Mid Nationals a couple years back??? Did he apply for his AM status back and have it granted or is he just slipping threw the cracks???

What gets me is the pitch-n-putts they are using for a World Championship........Definitely wasn't like that last year in Tulsa, all Championship courses...that's why I got schooled there :eek:

Your joking right??? Everything was pitch and putt in Tulsa cept Black and Red Hawk and you could even go REAL LOW on Red Hawk if your drives were on!!!

When your a short arm like me I guess pitch-n-putt definition could be different ;)

SSA seems low for a couple of the Milwaukee courses but I haven't played them so I could be wrong

Tulsa's SSA's ran from the High 48ish's to 57ish, Haikey was as high as 54

Milwaukee's SSA's have been reported at 44-51

I'm definitely no expert at this, I just would of expected longer or more difficult courses

Mayo gained a lil' on them, running at +5 after 3 rounds
