Random Beaver Round Up III.
Everything is place for 3rd installment of the Random Beaver Round Up. This is a very fun and unique event where you bring a partner and play doubles at a short and relatively easy course. The first round you play best shot with your partner off the long tees at Crystal Lake Park. The third round you will play modified worst shot off the short tee pads. We add up those two sets of scores and crown champions in each division.
You may have noticed I said first and third rounds. Well, between those two rounds you ditch your partner and we play a round of random draw doubles with everyone mixed into the same pool. We have a separate payout for the top 1/3 of the teams from that round as well. So basically you are playing two rounds of bring your partner doubles and one separate round of random draw in between those. Lots of fun! As always, more information can be found on Take Flight Today (http://www.takeflighttoday.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=133).
Let's review:
Where: Crystal Lake Park in Beaver Dam, WI (http://www.pdga.com/course/courses_by_city.php?id=904)
When: Saturday, January 13th, 2007
How: Register online or via snail mail
Why: Super short and fun course with a very unique format
The past 2 years we have seen an average of about 40 to 50 players. I already have a couple of teams pre-registered for this year so don't delay! The extended forecast even looks great for this event!
