Well my friends this is where I'm at:
I would love to go to the Memorial ......but......I would also need to find a week and practice Highbridge!
Here's the Question: :
Who would be in to go Spend the same week at Highbridge that we would have spent at the Memorial?

Hey d, don't think I know you, but if there wasn't a ton of snow up there and you could rent that cabin right on the hill for the week - I'd be up for it.
Otherwise, I'm thinking of renting that cabin in late spring if it's open, and getting a bunch of people up there that just want to disc all week long.

Hello again my friends…..
I greatly appreciated the suggestions given to me by those at leagues tonight and how to make a trip to Highbridge this summer possible before 07’ Worlds.
I emailed Mr. Chuck Kennedy to confirm what events were going on during the 4th of July weekend, as a few folks at leagues heard there was a “pre-worlds” test run going on. Here is the information Mr. Kennedy (greatly appreciated his quick response) shared with me:
“The Four Back -to-Back Highbridge Points Bonanza events will be June 30 - July 3.
The two events on Sat and Sun (June 30th – Jul 1st) will be Wisconsin Tour with at least one or both as B-tier”
Mon-Tue events as C-tiers. (Jul 2nd-3rd)
All of the Worlds course configs will be played to test them during those days.
Informal random doubles likely on July 4th.”
WOW ! Four days in a row of hot sweaty, eye squinting days of disc golf! That’s enough disc golf for me to UNLEASH my inner beast and go all nature boy, NO shower, NO shaving, so I can be the smelliest, rank, hard core disc golfing animal that I am!
But I digress……..
Accommodations that week are can be camping or hotels. Mr. Kennedy has reserved 10 motel units at the Bad River Casino…..$59 per night.
Here is a map of the area and Travel distances:

This sounds a WHOOOOLLLLLLLE lot better than going in March! Ha.
Is anyone interested in this…..???
Superberry, when in the spring were you thinking of heading up?

Well I usually go play horseshoes every 4th, so I am not 100% either way yet. Thankfully we still have 7 months to decide.

Don, as of now, I was starting to plan to coincide with Memorial Day, so I can get a week off at only the cost of 4 days. I'd go up Saturday to Saturday, or however a 'rental week' is defined. So that would be May 26 thru June 2.
Of course, it all depends on what they have open up there at the time - I HAVE to play the Bear! If rentals aren't available, I may camp at Copper Falls State Park.
Sorry, but it's gonna be waaaaaaaay too hot around July to do any heavy binge discin, sleeping in a tent, and drinking heavily at night.
