In 2007 I will be running the 4th annual Wham Bam Thank You Am. I will also be helping Mike Newhouse run the 2007 Capitol Cup. The Capitol Cup will be the weekend before Memorial Day at Elver Park in Madison. The WBTYA will be the weekend after Memorial Day (first weekend in June) at Village Park in Sussex. Please send any suggestions you may have to improve either event to me at mike@s-curvediscgolf.com. Also, helpful hands are always in great demand. Please let me know if you would like to help with either event.

Thanks,

Mike

reading this post, it looks like it is a pat yourself on the back session....So Here Goes! :) :D

In 2005 Yohann Costa and I started the OZDGC out at tendick Park. I became a member of the GLDGC in 2004 but did not renew last year or 2006, but am renewing for 2007, I, ran the Mayhem open in 2003 took 2 years off and then ran 3 events in 2006, with the help of the OZDGC, the biggest of which was the Mayhem Open at 83 players. I will be running the Mayhem again with the help of the OZaukee Disc Golf Club in 2007, which will be a B Tier event. I have also signed my daughters (3 years old and 11 weeks) as PDGA Members.

Helping build community relationships, support, and giving back.

Yesterday, the Winter Park Disc Golf Club donated over $300 worth of toys to the Toys For Tots campaign. It was a good trade, four huge Fleet Farm bags full of toys for good kids, at the cost of a basket.

For 2007, I pledge to support disc golf by organizing quality PDGA events for the WI Tour & the Pin High Tour. Every event that I TD will have "added cash" to the Pro Purse, you'll always be playing for more than just your entry fees. Starting with the Klondike Winter Challenge (http://fp1.centurytel.net/AxldogAcresDiscGolf/KlondikeWinterChallenge/2007KlondikeWinterChallenge/index2.htm). This PDGA XC-tier will have BIG payouts for only 18 holes of play. Come get your share of the $1000+ added cash and prizes!

Relax at the Stout Ale House while waiting for your T-time, then get a FREE shuttle-bus ride to a private 18 hole course (http://fp1.centurytel.net/AxldogAcresDiscGolf/) carved out of the rugged elevations of the Knapp Hills of Wisconsin, enjoy FREE Swiss Miss hot chocolate on the course, then get a FREE shuttle-bus ride back to the Stout Ale House where a hot meal awaits ( all players will receive a $2 discount at the regular Stout Ale House dinner buffet ), after the awards and player party at the Stout Ale House you then retreat back to the hottub in your room ( at the Country Inn & Suites where you will recieve 20% off your nights stay ).
