For many of us Gordon’ passing was a major shock. After the dust settled, WE found ourselves compelled to resurrect Gordon’s dream of a course at Delaware State Park. Without dragging into the details, Gordon’s family sought to secure a home for the targets that were originally intended for the park some years ago. Now over a year later and some help of Gordon’s friends as well as some serious work days recently, the approved park land is looking more like a disc golf course than ever before, through the dedication of such folks as Ian McNamara, Chuck Custer, Paul Jay, Allen Koehler, Rick Stevens, Chris Hinkley, Mike Taylor, and more. The interest for this course has spread throughout OH with a genuine appreciation for the value that IT holds. Not just in “another new course” but more importantly a place that ALL of Gordon’s friends can visit and feel close to HIM again. I encourage those of you who knew Gordon to visit our site MOODGolf (http://mysite.verizon.net/resohppf/id32.html) for updates and invite you to come to the course when it is completed.

Send an email my way when you guys are doing work out there, I'd love to check it out and do what I can to help see it's realization.

Exciting things happening in our area. The GHMDGC is devloping daily. Many dedicated disc golfers from our region have been volunteering time and resourses that have enabled us to install ALL 18 targets at Delaware State Park. Additionally, Derek & Lisa Warner have donated an extra target for putting green. Chuck Custer and many others have devoted countless hours of course work to make this one of the newest exciting additions to OH.
