STOLEN PRACTICE BASKET!!!!!

Yeah you read correctly. The brand spankin new practice basket at Northshore was stolen. Well, the donkey band and the chains anyway. Looks like they couldn't get the actual basket off the pole. Must have been drivin a bicycle and had no room for the pole! Anyway, if anyone saw anything suspicious let us know! I filed a police report, but it really isn't gonna do anything. I'm sure they went and stole some see-saws and merry-go-rounds after they were done.

You guys didn't have it tack welded at the top of the chain assembly?

I hate to hear it, but live and learn. Since I have been playing in Tulsa, over the last 4 years, I think I have seen at least 6 baskets stolen. Anything form the whole thing being gone to what Fayetteville has just experienced. :mad:

It might be a good idea to get either the city or a volunteer to get the rest of the baskets welded to the poles. While this won't prevent the whole basket being stolen, it will deter most of the little basterds. :mad:

And since they found it so easy the first time, chances are they'll be back.

I have the parts for a top assembly, and enough chain. Heath said he could weld the parts. We could be back in business- if y'all want a quick fix to the problem.

I have a old basket from Denver that got hit by a car.I will take the top off it and the club can have it.It's got two hole #'s on it and my name and the words
